15 the Mile Post, Boraluhena is a very remote village in Galle District. Viddyadharsha Junior School is the only school in this village where over 400 students are studying. This is a very old school started in the Colonial period and the buildings are very old. Out of the three building available one is already condemned.

This school has been neglected by the governments due political reasons. The principal of the school requested us to help him to repair the existing old building. We decided to build a new two story building instead of repairing the old condemned one. In end January we laid the foundation stone and by now the construction work is going on successfully.
