On September 7th, 2024, the Karuna Trust Junior Team helped with opening a library in Battaramulla for underprivileged students around the area. Student from local schools in the area were invited. Miss Mali Karunaratne donated 170 English books and an additional LKR 50,000 to buy new Sinhala books for the students. Miss Viduni Kothalawala donated 500 English books from the US.
